I am a shallow and vain person. I enjoy clothes and music, gossip and scandal. This is why I choose to live in Los Angeles. It is my mecca.
My hobbies include, or have included, buying clothing and shoes (I hate the term 'shopping'. It sounds cheap), painting, going out, dating, dancing, and, believe it or not, archery. My stats are as follows:

I enjoy music from many different genres and use it to get me in the frame of mind I wish to be in. Drugs are a muted sensation for me, but music can truly 'send me flying'. I love today's dancing with all of its sexual intensity. If there is one thing I enjoy the most is sex and its sensuality. Dancing today is as close to sex as you can get without lubrication of some sort. I love watching dancing as well as doing it. Same can be said for sex. Although, I am not one for porn. Or at least most commercially produced porn. I do, however, enjoy watching amateur porn, which is much more fun and more heartfelt.

Another thing you should know about me is that I am highly distractable. If I am in a mood, I can be bored easily and bounce from entertainment to entertainment. I am generally gracious, but I learned at the knees of Victorian society matrons on how to cut a person dead with a look or a word.

And to put your mind at ease, I never actually leave a person dead. If anything, it is too much hassle to hide the body or crime. Especially in this day and age.

Word to the wise, though: if you ask me if I know Monsieur de Lioncourt, I will change the previous paragraph to include your painful and humiliating demise. We may both, he and I, come from the delusions of a writer, and yes, perhaps, we both share a few, just a few, character traits. But I am by far superior. After all, I'm British-born and he's an insane frog.

That, in the proverbial nutshell, is the barest information about me. If you have any questions, please do ask. If there is one thing I love, it's talking about myself.

Behind the Curtain

Vale is a fictional character. But his story is being told from his own point of view and in his own voice. He writes in his journal and he comments on his friends' journals. Anything important to his story will either be in his own journal or in the comments of his nemesis/confidant jcipres.

Vale writes in real time. For
example, he will write about going out the night before, dancing at a club, and getting caught in the rain. If you check the weather, you will see that it rained the night before in Los Angeles.

Vale's story is interactive. You are encouraged to comment to him, friend him, joke with him, argue with him, or even scold him. Don't be afraid. Vale may bite, but he can't do it through cyberspace.

You are also encouraged to read the comments, as there is very, very often story and character development inside the comments of both Vale's and jcipres's journal.
